Car Camping Favorites!

Over the last six years I have been car camping a few times a year almost always to the Adventures on the Gorge property in the New River National Park. Here are a few of my favorite items during these trips.

Blackstone 17″
Griddle
This Blackstone Griddle makes car camping so much easier – no need to bring a stove and pots and pans and only need one or two utensils – super easy cleanup!
Headlamp
Rechargeable
Had these since 2023 and still going strong. Comes in a pack of two and has a white/redlight, motion sensor option. Must have for handsfree lighting.
Telescopic Camping Light
This light can adjust to multiple positions, creates a beautiful glow and the charge lasts multiple nights at the campsite! One of my favorite new purchases this year!
Coleman 24-Piece Dinnerware Set
These Coleman bowls, plates and flatware have lasted years and there is something about eating dinner on these plates in the woods that just makes the whole experience complete.
Hanaoyo 5 Gallon Portable Container
This was a new addition this year and hard to believe we did without for so long! Used for drinking and cooking water. Has a rechargeable pump that can be turned on with a light touch and even measures exactly how much you want to pour!
Digury 5 Gallon Water Jug for cleaning, etc.
We chose a second jug specifically for potable water for washing hands, washing dishes, etc. At first, we were not wanting to carry another jug but, in the end, having the drinking water separate from “utility water” was a great setup!
Bestargot Titanium Pot, Coffee French Press
This Bestargot Titanium Coffee French Press makes amazing coffee – I am not a normal coffee drinker but when camping it serves a need. My camping buddy actually uses this every day at home because it makes the perfect cup!
Collapsable Portable Travel Toilet
This collapses very small! We knew this camping trip was going to be non-stop rain and a walk to the bathhouse might not always be possible. This also made 2am bathroom breaks much easier and safer!
